Carlo Bacci Wants to Bring his Hands-on Business Experience to the Reading Select Board

Carlo Bacci is an experienced 30 year small business owner/advocate. The son of Italian immigrants, he’s the first in his family to graduate high school from Medford High and graduate college from Northeastern. In 2006 Bacci first came to Reading when he and his wife moved their retail business The Chocolate Truffle from its original location in Woburn to its current location at 494 Main Street. In 2006 they launched a chocolate manufacturing division which sells their CB Stuffer brand into specialty stores locally and nationally. “All the candidates should have the town’s best interest.

As a volunteer, former town business owner, business mentor and commercial business broker, I have a unique hands-on skill set that the board desperately needs. We need to plan for tomorrow and the future of Reading. I am best equipped to work with my fellow board members to accomplish that task. There is a lot going on in our little town and we need a diverse board that knows what families and businesses go through on a daily basis. I want to earn your vote on 3/3 and please pull both ballots, get out the vote and reach out to my campaign if you need a ride on Election Day because local elections are very important,” stated Carlo Bacci.

As a 30-year small-business owner/ advocate, Bacci will bring the business sense for sustainable growth opportunities. Carlo gives back as a volunteer business mentor with the City of Lynn nonprofit EforAll and as a coach with Reading Youth Soccer.

He’s called Reading home since 2009, with his wife Erin Calvo-Bacci and their three daughters Abigail, Sarah and Sofia.
