State Representative Debate planned for May 23

Candidates running in the 30th Middlesex District race for State Representative, regardless of party affiliation, have been invited to participate in a public debate forum so the voters of Woburn wards 2-6 can hear the candidates position on important issues.

Representative James Dwyer who represents Woburn Wards 2-6 and Reading Precincts 2-5, will retire at the end of his term. There are four Democrats and one Republican in the race for Dwyer’s seat.

Meet the Candidates

The forum moderator, Mr. Tom Zuppa of the Lowell Sun and, will feature candidate opening and closing statements, a round of questions, and a lightning round which will keep the event fast and fun. The forum will be held in the auditorium of Woburn Memorial High School on Wednesday, May 23, doors open at 6:30; the debate starts at 7 pm. The public is graciously invited to join the audience!

These events are hosted by the Woburn Democratic City Committee as a service to the voters of Woburn, with thanks to Mayor Scott Galvin and the Woburn Public Schools. For questions, contact Angela Ortiz at WoburnDems@gmail.com.
