New England folk-rock trio to perform uplifting covers and original songs on Temple Emmanuel’s back lawn August 29

WAKEFIELD, MA — Temple Emmanuel and Linden Tree Concerts will present The Millis Berfield Band at Wakefield Porchfest on Saturday, August 29, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Millis Berfield Band is a popular New England-based folk-rock and entertainment group known for its uplifting covers and catchy original songs. The trio features Bo Veaner, Mark Hastings, and Ken Porter, who play percussion, guitar, and keyboard, respectively.
Guests are invited to bring chairs and blankets and enjoy the performance on the beautiful back lawn of Temple Emmanuel, located at 120 Chestnut Street in Wakefield.
Wakefield Porchfest 2026 continues to grow, with 55 host sites and more than 100 performers showcasing a wide variety of musical styles throughout the community.

Wakefield Porchfest is organized by the nonprofit Next Stage Wakefield, with support in part from the Mass Cultural Council and the Wakefield Arts Council.
