On the night of November 17, 2020, our weak-kneed Select Board caved into the Auburn Street water tower area residents and voted not to have any cell tower placed on the site.

I hope the board members and the residents can live with themselves if someone in the northern section of the town cannot get emergency services if they need them. The public safety [departments] has stated that they need a tower on the site to provide communication for police and fire units for the whole town.

The Select Board members are elected to vote on what is the best for the whole population (27,000), and sometimes to the detriment of a few. It takes courage to do so, it is apparent to me that the present board members do not have any.
