ZBA To Discuss Permit for Two-Family Dwelling

At its regular meeting on Thursday, August 4th at 7:00PM, the Zoning Board of Appeals will be hosting a public hearing on an application from CJM Builders, Inc. requesting a variance for 183 Salem Street, site of a single-family home.  Single-family homes in this zoning district are allowed to be converted into two family homes provided that there are eight or more rooms in the home.  The variance is being sought to allow for demolition of the single family structure and construction on the same site of a two-family home in its place.

The board is also expected to approve the minutes for two different meetings that discussed the 40B application on Lincoln and Prescott Street.

This meeting is open to the public and will be aired live on RCTV channel 10 (Comcast) and 32 (Verizon).
