Reading, MA — Colonial Chorus Players was honored to welcome House Minority Leader Brad Jones (R-North Reading) and State Representative Richard M. Haggerty (D-Woburn) to our house—the Old Hose House—to brainstorm ways to fund a renovation of the 120-year-old building to make it ADA compliant for our audiences and performers.
After touring the space and hearing about our needs, Rich commented, “We’ve got some research to do.” Seeing the stage under construction for our upcoming radio play, Brad said it took him back to his days building sets for North Reading High School’s drama productions. We invited him to join us any Friday evening at 7 for set build and dinner at Mandarin Reading Restaurant afterward.
