He leaves behind a legacy of profound kindness, loyalty, and unconditional love.

Mike was a gentle, kind, and humorous man who brought warmth and laughter to everyone who knew him. He had a deep respect for other people and was a natural teacher in the martial arts with his inspiring dignity and gentle intensity.

For 11 years, he was the devoted partner of Kathleen Hanlon, and they shared a life together in Bedford, MA. Mike was a deeply proud and loving father to his sons, Chase and Cohen Larimore, who were the center of his world.

A lifelong learner with a passion for protecting the natural world, Mike achieved great success in his academic and professional pursuits. As a highly skilled environmental and civil engineer, Mike dedicated his intellect and career to improving infrastructure and caring for the planet.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mike was a man of diverse passions. His dedication to martial arts brought him discipline and strength, while his love for nature, wildlife, and all animals reflected his gentle soul and respect for all living things. He was an avid photographer, boater, DIY enthusiast, and tinkerer. He understood how machines work and could fix just about anything. His humor and fierce loyalty will be desperately missed by his partner, his sons, his extended family, and countless colleagues and friends.
