Edward J. Riopelle, age 64, a resident of Nashua, NH, formerly of Chelmsford and Reading, MA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 22, 2024.
He was born in Lowell on August 26, 1960, and was the son of the late Arthur and Louise (Leary) Riopelle, and the brother of David and Janet.
Ed grew up in Chelmsford, raised his family in Reading, and lived in NH, ME, and MA. Ed worked in the tech industry his entire career. In his spare time, he loved visiting race car tracks and watching NASCAR.
Edward is survived by his children; James Riopelle, Kristin Riopelle, Jason Snellings and his wife Emma, his nephews and nieces; Eric, Paul, Tara and Marylou as well as cousins, friends and extended family. He is also survived by his longtime partner and friend Karla Decker.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday December 6, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. His burial will be private.
