Reading Art Association is pleased to present Mary Rose O’Connell’s gouache demonstration on October 9, 2024. The demonstration will be at 7:30 PM at the First Congregational Church in Reading. The entrance is at the side door on Sanborn St.
Mary Rose O’Connell is well known for her oil paintings of the New England coast. She has also mastered still life and landscape paintings. She was classically trained in the Boston School Tradition.
Mary Rose instructs students in composition and design techniques using oil, acrylic, gouache, and drawing mediums. She conducts workshops in the United States and Europe. She is a national award-winning artist and a juried artist member of the Copley Society, Rockport Art Association, and Northshore Art Association.
