Post 1917 Hosts Grand Opening Party; Unveils Spacious Deck

Reading, MA — Post 1917, a steakhouse that integrates classic steakhouse with contemporary flair, is officially open, and it’s time to celebrate. Chef Jason Carron and the Post 1917 team hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, June 4. Following the ceremony, friends and family celebrated with live music on their newly opened patio.

Located within the historic Post Office Building at 136 Haven Street, the former home of Reading’s century-old post office, Post 1917 is a newly opened steakhouse that integrates classic steakhouse with contemporary flair. The restaurant is excited to announce the opening of The Deck at Post 1917. The spacious outdoor area comfortably hosts 50 people and features Reading’s only outdoor bar.

The Deck at Post 1917 will offer a special lunch menu Thursday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Post 1917’s main dinner menu will be served on The Deck Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the last seating at 8:00 p.m. The Deck food & drink menu will also be the only menu offered on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All seating on The Deck is first come, first serve.

Restaurant goers can also listen to live music on The Deck while enjoying delicious food and beverages al fresco on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information, visit https://www.post1917.com
