Celebrate Juneteenth on the Reading Town Common

Saturday, June 15, from 100-700 pm!

Reading Public Library, Reading, MA—Reading’s fourth annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival is happening! If you enjoyed last year’s celebration, come down to the Town Common on Saturday, June 15, starting at 1 pm for the return of this family-friendly event with music, food, speakers, and a beer garden.

The day will be filled with uplifting music, interactive dance, and plenty of opportunities for refreshment from a local brewery and food trucks. For those who love to shop, we’ve got you covered with a pop-up market featuring black-owned businesses. The event location is wheelchair accessible and ASL translators are available on request.

This year’s Juneteenth Freedom Festival is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading. Learn more about the program on the library’s event calendar: https://bit.ly/RPLJuneteenth24
