Clifford H. Meuse, Jr. – 92, of North Reading, passed away after a brief illness on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Winchester Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Ann (Malone) Meuse.
Born in Stoneham, MA on April 5,1931. He was the son of the late Clifford H., Sr. and Martha (Doucette ) Meuse. He was raised and attended school in Stoneham. Clifford was a Korean War Veteran, He was a Corporal and he served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952.
Clifford worked for over twenty five years for General Tire in Reading. He has been a resident of North Reading for the past 60 years and he cared about his community. He enjoyed aviation and reading novels.
Family members include his loving sons, Clifford, III and David Meuse; his brother Al Meuse and two grandsons, Christopher and Michael.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 17 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Interment will be held on Thursday, January 18 at 11:00 AM in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading, a procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:45 AM.
