Author Juliette Fay To Visit Book Club at Whitelam Books

Event is open to the public Thursday, July 20, at 7:00 PM

On Thursday, July 20, the Whitelam Books Fiction Book Club is thrilled to be joined by author Juliette Fay, who will discuss and answer questions about her new novel, The Half of It. This event is free and the public is invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to read the book before joining, as the discussion will cover the full plot of the book and there will be spoilers. This is a unique opportunity to discuss a fabulous new novel directly with the author in a small group setting. Bring your friends for a fun, interesting night out.

The Half of It asks whether Helen Iannucchi Spencer, a mother of three adult children, can begin to address the pain caused forty years earlier. At the center of the pain was her then-teenage boyfriend, Cal Crosby, whom she unexpectedly runs into later in life. With humor, heart, and grace, this delightful novel asks whether it is possible to recover from the pain of the past. Juliette Fay is an award-winning and best-selling author. This is her seventh novel.

Local independent bookstore Whitelam Books offers three no-commitment, drop-in adult book clubs every month: Science Fiction/Fantasy, Non-Fiction, and Fiction. All three book clubs are free and open to the public. These clubs are opportunities for local readers to enjoy new books and good conversation with neighbors who also love to read. To learn more about these book clubs and other author events, follow Whitelam Books on social media, call the store at 781-779-1833, or visit whitelambooks.com.
