Obituary: Pietro “Peter” Indrisano, 79

November 9, 1943 ~ May 31, 2023

Pietro “Peter” J. Indrisano, beloved husband of Maureen (Brescia) Indrisano, passed on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, due to severe complications from COPD and emphysema at his home. Born in Winthrop on November 9, 1943, he is son to the late Emilio and Mildred (Guardabascio) Indrisano.

Formerly of East Boston, Peter attended the North Bennett Street School and has fond memories of summers he spent as a caddy and being a member of the North End Boys Club. A longtime resident of Reading, Peter leaves in addition to his loving wife Maureen, his daughter Cara and her husband Scott Ouellette of Methuen. Cherished grandfather of Dean and Leo. Loving brother-in-law of Beverly Brescia of Malden. Peter leaves countless beloved family members and friends.

Originally from East Boston. Also attended the North Bennett Street school in East Boston and fondly remembered the summers he spent as a caddy.

Peter loved horseracing and enjoyed his annual visit to Saratoga Springs, NY with his friend Jim Girado. 

A Funeral will be held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading (Corner of Park St. and Rt. 28 at the Reading Line) on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 9am, followed by a funeral mass celebrating Peter’s Life at St. Joseph’s Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Interment will be held privately. 

Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2 to 5pm.
