To Whom it May Concern,

On April 5, I will be casting my vote for Pam Daskalakis for RMLD Board of Commissioners. My experience volunteering with Pam as a member of the Board of the Women’s League of Reading makes me confident that she will be a fresh, innovative, and collaborative voice on the RMLD Board. I hope you will join me in voting for Pam for this important role.

Pam volunteered with the Women’s League for three years, supporting annual fundraising activities and personally overseeing disbursement of funds to over 35 deserving Reading organizations as Treasurer. As the former President of the Women’s League, I worked closely with Pam as we ensured our fundraising activities were effective, efficient and benefited the most critical needs of the community. We distributed over $22,000 to local non-profit organizations during the Spring of 2020, adjusting our distributions quickly to meet our annual commitments to long-standing beneficiaries of the WLR, as well as funding real-time needs of the community due to early pandemic impacts. Pam was able to quickly pivot in March 2020 to make budgeting adjustments so that we could swiftly provide aid where most needed in the Reading community.

Not only did Pam act with the best interest of our members and the broader community in mind, she brought innovative new ideas to our organization, including introducing new technology to make our fundraising activities easier and more effective. She was highly collaborative in this role, listening to all perspectives, finding common ground, and driving towards the best decisions for the organization.

I have confidence that Pam will provide a fresh perspective to this role, along with the leadership and collaboration the RMLD needs from its board members. She will leverage her 20+ years of professional experience in Procurement and Cost Management to help RMLD make the transition to clean energy as cost effective as possible, while keeping reliability of service to customers top of mind.

Please join me in voting for Pam Daskalakis on April 5.
