Bid Documents will be available after 9 a.m. on August 11, 2021 online at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/townofreading . All plan holders must have an active online account on www.bidnetdirect.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids electronically.
It is the responsibility of the prospective proposers and bidders to check www.BidNetDirect.com for new information any addenda or modifications to any solicitation.
The contract will be awarded under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149 to the lowest cost responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total price for all three years of the contract.
The Town of Reading accepts no responsibility and will provide no accommodation to Bidders who submit a response and or bid based on an out-of-date solicitation or on information received from a source other than the Town of Reading.
The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to award or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town’s and/or the public’s best interest.
