For the last several months, there have been numerous hearings on the proposed new water tower on Auburn Street. One of the most outspoken critics of the project lives at 26 Beacon Street.

He has complained about the color, that it is ugly and so on. He, with others, insists that there should be a pocket park for the enjoyment of the neighbors, and I agree.

Perhaps the town should start by removing .the driveway that the owner of 26 Beacon has over the TOWN of READING property and send the owner a bill for the restoration.

I do not know when the picture was taken that is shown on Google. Still, I suggest that you may want to look at it and see the driveway and construction debris. Perhaps you will agree that the owner of 26 Beacon Street should look in the mirror first before complaining about the color or anything else about the project.
