Vyvyan M. (Lay) Low, a longtime resident of Reading passed away at the Hannah Duston Long-Term Healthcare facility in Haverhill on December 26, 2020. She was 99 years of age.
Vyvyan was born in Kenton, Ohio, the daughter of Ogland O. and Clarice (Aurand) Lay. Vyvyan worked as a Registered Nurse and was a member of the Stoneham Memorial Seventh Day Advent Church.
Vyvyan was the beloved wife of the late Edwin B. Low. She is survived by nephew David Lay of New Jersey, niece MaryBeth Lay of Michigan & Nancy Hamilton of Fla. She is also survived by great-nieces Carolyn Hyslop of Plymouth, Jean Dyment, & Janet Carusi both of Reading, Kathy Kidik of Wilmington, Nancy Hickey of Winchester & William (Hank) Dewsnap of Poland Maine, and several other great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ogland Lay, Jr.
Due to the pandemic, Vyvyan’s funeral and burial will be private. There are no visiting hours.
