CB Stuffer Featured on HSN’s Small Business Spotlight

Reading, MA – Since 2007, CB Stuffer, located at 17 Columbia Street in Swampscott, has been bringing smiles to their customers through their gourmet chocolate treats. Operated by Reading residents Erin and Carlo Calvo-Bacci, CB Stuffers is most well-known for its industry-defying large Peanut-Butter Cups. Yesterday, the company reached a new celebrity, this time for being featured on HSN’s Small Business Spotlight.

As part of the program, Erin Calvo-Bacci produced a small video segment highlighting her business, which was featured on both on the program as well as on HSN’s Small Business Spotlight page on their website, and was also interviewed by the host of the program, Alyce Caron.

“CB Stuffer is a small family business, with my husband Carlo, who manages production, me, who works on the back-end, and our daughters Abigail, Sarah, and Sophia, who help out,” said Erin Calvo-Bacci on the program.

Chosen out of thousands of small businesses to participate by the National Retail Federation, CB Stuffer was highlighted in part due to their devotion to supporting the local economy and helping the greater community.

“When you purchase from us, know that CB Stuffer is also helping out our local economy, because we try and source as many of our ingredients from local suppliers as we can, and know that it also helps us because we are to pay it forward and support great organizations such as EforAll, helping people to be entrepreneurs, as well as Girls Inc. Being a Mom of three girls, I certainly want to see other women succeeding as well” said Calvo-Bacci in her interview.

Calvo-Bacci went on to say “I really believe success breeds success. We are so fortunate to be supported by our community, and if we can help in any small way, we know that it can make a difference. For instance, we are right now partnering with another local business who has been sending product to our frontline workers and our veteran hospitals. We know that food insecurity is a really big issue, so we are also contributing money back to our local Food Pantry.”

If you are new to CB Stuffer, there is one item that Erin Calvo-Bacci suggests trying.

“I’d order the Candy Coated and Pretzel Pizza. These are great, shareable gifts, and they certainly make a statement.” The link to the full interview can be found here:
