I would like to provide strong endorsement for Vivek Soni, a Reading resident, as Commissioner for the Reading Municipal Light Department.
Vivek has served on the Citizens Advisory Board for two years and is intimately familiar with both the operational and financial aspects of the RMLD. He brings a unique perspective of having lived in Lynnfield, one of our served towns. Vivek has always provided the RMLD Board with insightful questions and interested feedback on how the RMLD is managed.
His personal background in Clean Energy services will prove very helpful as the RMLD moves into more carbon-free and sustainable energy sources. He has a strong scientific background and has served in numerous entrepreneurial ventures in the Boston area and internationally.
