Reading, MA — Andrew Maggiore, owner of Drew’s Stews and More!, announced that the Main Street location will close. Maggiore opened the shop in July 2021 and will “wind down in the next month or so.”

All’s Swell That Ends Swell
All good things come to an end, though we kind of feel like we just came from Chuckles the Clown’s funeral. It breaks our heart to take this step, but continued high costs and sleepy sales mean we’re forced to wind down operations in the next month or so. In other words, we’re going belly up, and just like with the demise of Chuckles, why not laugh about it?
We’re so grateful to everyone who has supported us over the course of the past three years—at the farmers’ markets, in our hometown of Lexington, our adopted town of Reading, and through our weekly delivery service all over Greater Boston. We’re honored to have made your meals a little easier, healthier and more fun, and we hope you’ll continue to support independent businesses in general, and independent food businesses in particular. More to come about the future of our awesome kitchen here in Reading!
