KidsUnited uses sport to support early childhood development
WOBURN, MA – Greater Boston families will soon have a new option for indoor youth recreation. KidsUnited will open on Friday, December 4, at 240 West Cummings Park in Woburn, offering structured soccer programs designed to support early childhood development for children ages 18 months to 9 years.
Because every class is indoors, kids can play soccer year-round, no matter the weather.
Founded in New York in 2018, KidsUnited uses soccer to help children achieve age-appropriate developmental milestones while having fun. Its curriculum builds motor skills, balance, and athleticism alongside confidence, resilience, teamwork, and responsibility.
“Our goal is to make soccer fun and accessible while helping children build skills that extend well beyond the field,” said Chandra Mohan Manish, co-owner of KidsUnited Woburn. “We’re thrilled to bring KidsUnited to Woburn and create a welcoming place where local children can learn, play, and grow together.”
KidsUnited Woburn offers a climate-controlled indoor facility with a padded-turf field and a small-class environment. Families can choose from several age- and stage-specific programs, from foundational to advanced, led by certified coaches on weekday evenings and weekends. Enrollment is available through monthly subscriptions or three-month membership packages.
Pre-sale enrollment is now open (through December 2). Families who enroll during the pre-sale period will receive a complimentary Player Pack, including a full uniform, soccer ball, drawstring bag, and set of cones.
