Newly remastered footage captures KISS rehearsing at Camp Curtis Guild Armory in 1976
Reading, MA — A piece of Reading rock history is getting a new life as KISS celebrates the 50th anniversary of its landmark album Rock And Roll Over.
The official video for “Hard Luck Woman,” filmed at the Camp Curtis Guild in Reading between November 15 and 21, 1976, during rehearsals for KISS’s Rock And Roll Over tour, has been newly remastered in high definition by Andrew Sgambati.
“Hard Luck Woman” was one of the album’s best-known songs. Written by Paul Stanley, the song featured Peter Criss on lead vocals and became a major hit for the band.
The newly remastered video is being released as part of KISS’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of Rock And Roll Over. The anniversary campaign includes Super Deluxe editions, collectible vinyl releases, newly remastered audio and brand-new 2026 stereo mixes created by original producer Eddie Kramer from the original analog multi-track tapes.
For KISS fans in Reading, the release offers a chance to see a piece of local history captured during one of the band’s most significant periods.
The Rock And Roll Over 50th anniversary collection is available for pre-order through KISS’s official website.
