Post 1917 Celebrates One-Year Anniversary with Week-Long Line Up of Festivities

Festivities Kick Off Tuesday, April 15 at the Beloved Reading Steakhouse

READING, MA — Post 1917, the modern steakhouse known for its locally inspired charm and setting within Reading’s historic Post Office building, is thrilled to celebrate its first anniversary with a week of special events, live entertainment, and community engagement from Tuesday, April 15, through Saturday, April 19.

Guests are invited to join Post 1917 in the celebration and take part in the festivities all week long, including: 

Anniversary Week Lineup:

  • Tuesday, April 15Dining for a Cause
    Kick off the celebration by giving back. Post 1917 will donate 10% of all sales to Veterans Legal Services, supporting free legal aid for Massachusetts veterans.
  • Wednesday, April 16Guest Bartender Night
    Beloved locals Sheila Clark and Jimmy Murphy take over the bar for one night only, serving up signature cocktails and celebrating with guests.
  • Thursday, April 17Live Music with The Haverty Brothers
    Enjoy an evening of live music from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
  • Friday, April 18Champagne Toast & Festive Décor
    Raise a glass to one year of Post 1917 with a complimentary champagne toast and festive balloon installations from Balloonacy.
  • Saturday, April 19Daytime Live Music
    Close out the week with live music from Cait & Pat, joined by special guest Antea Amoroso, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
