READING – Police Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department arrested and charged a Lynnfield man with Operating Under the Influence.
ANDREW GALLO, AGE 29, of LYNNFIELD was arrested and charged with the following:
Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On Sunday, March 17, at approximately 9:24 p.m., Reading Police were dispatched to the area of Main and Forest Streets for a report of a motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival officers located two vehicles, a brown Honda Accord and a Gray Toyota Camry, that appeared to have damage consistent with a motor vehicle crash.
A preliminary investigation determined that the brown Honda Accord had rear-ended the Gray Toyota. Officers conducted a field sobriety test on the driver of the Honda, determined to be GALLO.
GALLO was placed under arrest without incident. He was arraigned in Woburn District Court on Monday.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
