Especially after watching the candidates’ forum on February 22, I’m excited about the opportunity to vote for Tara Gregory to bring a collaborative spirit to the Reading Select Board.
I’ve spoken with other town residents who, like me, are tired of hearing the same old cynical script in our Select Board elections. Time and again, the same Board members and candidates who say they stand for working together in a collegial way have attacked and accused other Board members in their very next sentence.
Tara has a record of contributing to this town and working to find solutions with a genuine cooperative approach. From Tara’s presentation at the candidates’ forum it’s clear that they will bring a breath of fresh air and contribute to a Board that works for all members of the Reading community. Let’s all get out to vote and give Tara the opportunity to serve and to help guide Reading to a bright future.
