MSP Field Troops to Roll Extra Patrols Across the State on Thanksgiving Eve

BOSTON — Members of Massachusetts State Police Troop A today joined their law enforcement partners from to promote an impaired driving enforcement effort beginning on Thanksgiving Eve.

The MSP was represented by Major James.

Bazzinotti and Captain Kathryn Downey, Commanding Officer and Executive Officer, respectively, of Troop A. They were joined at the event, held at the Seabrook, NH, rest area on Interstate 95 north, by members of the New Hampshire Department of Safety, New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety, New Hampshire State Police, Maine State Police, Massachusetts State Police, and Seabrook Police, and an advocate for victims of impaired driving crashes.

In Massachusetts, each of the five geographic field Troops will deploy additional patrols on the evening shift Wednesday night. The saturation patrols will seek and interdict drivers who are impaired or engaged in other dangerous driving behaviors.
