LtE: Stay on Point

The Reading Post accepts Letters to the Editor. All letters must be signed. The Reading Post reserves the right to edit or not publish any letters received. Letters do not represent the views or opinions of the Post.

Dear Editor

How did the Pride Story time, LGBT community and DEI office get dragged into a letter about policies and procedures pertaining to the library?  Not only did I not mention them, they were not the point of the letter.

When one doesn’t have a proper rebut to a valid point, they use protected classes, deflect and use pronouns! (Pronouns that are notused on the Facebook profiles names of the signatories)

If our Town Manager or Superintendent changed a select board of school committee vote without following up with the elected boards, people would have their heads.

Why wouldn’t we want to CORI check employees, volunteers AND vendors?
