Reading Public Library Foundation Welcomes Ford as Board Member

Reading, MA — The Reading Public Library Foundation is proud to welcome Christine Ford to its Board of Directors. 

Christine is a marketing and technical writer for a data analysis software firm. Christine brings a
deep writing background, as well as keen management skills overseeing complex projects. Her
insights and experience will be a strong asset to the Foundation as it continues to grow and expand to meet ever evolving issues and challenges.


In addition, Christine is a Town Meeting member and has volunteered with a range of school groups and campaigns in Reading during the 25 plus years she has lived here. 

“We are so excited to have Christine’s guidance and support,” noted Foundation President Patrick Egan. “Christine’s deep love for our Library makes her a wonderful ambassador for the Foundation.”

“I’ve been a big fan of libraries since I was in grade school,” said Christine. “The Reading Public Library is a community treasure that I’m very proud to support. I look forward to helping the Foundation and working with its Directors.”

The Reading Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to raising funds to support the Reading Public Library. The Foundation has established, and is focused on expanding, an endowment that will provide a long-term, sustained source of supplemental funds for the Library.
