Robert “Bob” Aschod Kurchian, age 82, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born in Boston to Mary and Harry Kurchian and lived in Reading, MA, where he graduated from Reading High School. He went on to gain his Associate degree from Stockbridge School of Agriculture and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy.
For over 20 years, he worked in the maintenance department for the Reading Public School System. Prior to that, he was a mechanic for Volkswagen. Bob was a talented artist with no limit to what he could create or fix.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Twomey) Kurchian, their two children, Joel Kurchian and his wife, Michelle of North Reading, MA and Sarah Kurchian and her husband, Brian Kestner of Casco, ME, and his three grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sister Nancy Bedirian and her husband, George of Pullman, WA.
A private memorial will be held for family only. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the MSPCA at Nevins Farm.
