To the voters of precinct eight, my name is William C. Brown and on April 5 the ballot will have the names of close to 40 of which only 24 can be elected.

I have been a Town Meeting Member for 54 years during that time I have missed only a handful of meetings. I can bring to Town Meeting a wealth of history both of the “good times” and the “bad times ” I have served on the Charter review two times. I have served as a Light Commissioner. I presently serve on the Cemetery Board of Trustees. I have served on numerous committees one of which was the Fire Station.

I am an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean conflict and have devoted countless hours supporting them including working with the Towns GIS person to ensure that every deceased interred in Reading are recognized for their service. I worked with a small group of people to set up a fund to ensure that each veteran would have a plant on their grave on Memorial day when the Town would not fund them because of budget cuts.

I was Cub Master of the largest pack (125) in the then Minute Man Council. I have spent countless hours supporting ALS research to honor my wife that was taken by it. Lately, I have been repairing vacuum cleaners and donating them to Mission of Deeds.

I have been a resident of Reading for 89 years and care for it deeply and ask if you share the same views then task for your voter on April 5. 2022 if not then at least VOTE.

Sincerely

William C. Brown
