Frank A. Malzone, age 92, of Reading and Naples, FL, formerly of Winchester, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes surrounded by his loving family, on January 11, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucy (Foti) Malzone.
Born in Boston, Frank was the son of the late Frank and Eva (St. Charles) Malzone. He was the owner and operator of Commercial Transport Trucking Company for many years until his retirement and then went on to work as an employee for the Commonwealth of MA for several years of his retirement.
In his spare time, he was an avid Boston Sports fan and season ticket holder to the Bruins (where he was president of the “Gallery Gods” at the Boston Garden), Patriots, and Boston College football. He also loved playing cribbage.
Mr. Malzone is lovingly survived by his daughters: Diane Massiglia and her husband Frank, Lucille Kaloyanides and her husband Donald, all of Reading, and is further survived by 5 grandchildren: Michelle Goldner and her husband Steve, Michael Massiglia and his wife Katie, Erik Kaloyanides and his wife Monique, Dave Kaloyanides and his wife Liza, and Jessica Kaloyanides; 8 great-grandchildren: Stephanie Goldner, Courtney Goldner, Matthew Goldner, Luccia Kaloyanides, Ella Kaloyanides, Ethan Kaloyanides, Hudson Kaloyanides, and Penelope Kaloyanides. He was a generous, funny, and loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed.
