Dear Editor,

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the residents of Lynnfield, Middleton, Reading, and North Reading for their support in the November 3 election. I am truly honored and humbled to receive your vote of confidence and to be given the opportunity to continue to serve as your State Representative.

Our country and our Commonwealth are facing extraordinary and challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic has completely upended everyone’s lives and led to an election campaign unlike any I have ever seen during my years in public office.

It takes the combined efforts of many people working together to run a successful campaign. I am forever grateful to everyone who graciously volunteered their time over the past year by participating in our sign standouts, distributing campaign literature, making calls, writing dear friend cards, or displaying a lawn sign. I could not have run a successful re-election campaign without their help.

I also want to acknowledge our town clerks, their staffs, and the many dedicated poll workers who helped ensure a smooth process at polling places throughout the district on election day. They did an outstanding job managing a record-setting voter turnout both safely and efficiently.

I have always taken great pride in being accessible and responsive to my constituents’ needs, and I pledge that I will continue to be available to help those in need of assistance. Working together, we have accomplished many great things for the 20th Middlesex District. I am looking forward to continuing to advocate for the needs of the district and to be your voice on Beacon Hill over the next two years.

With appreciation,

Brad Jones
State Representative
