Vanessa Alvarado turning in nomination papers to Julia Rodger, Assistant Town Clerk, Reading Town Hall
Reading, MA – Finance Committee member Vanessa Alvarado is pleased to announce her candidacy for the Board of Selectmen.
This week Ms. Alvarado turned in over 100 signatures to the town clerk to place her name on the April Ballot and is now focusing her efforts on outreach to the community.
“One of the things I want to accomplish,” Alvarado said, “is meeting as many people in Reading as possible over the next four months. I’ve already started knocking on doors and it’s been a great way to meet and hear from our community members.”
Vanessa can also be found at Café Nero every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM where she hopes people will come to meet her and share their ideas about Reading’s potential and the challenges that lie ahead.
