The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet this Thursday, July 7th at 7:00pm in the Town Hall Selectmen’s Meeting Room. They will be hearing one new case and continuing two previous cases. In the new case, Case 16-13, a property owner seeks to connect an already non-conforming building to a currently detached building on the same property on Bancroft Avenue. Case 16-10 continues a hearing from May 19th, where a property owner seeks to create a buildable lot in a non-conforming shape on Van Norden Drive. Case 16-5 also continues a hearing from May 19th where a Fairview Avenue homeowner wants to build a garage seven feet closer to the side property line than is allowed under the Zoning bylaw. On each case Zoning Board of Appeals may settle on the case, deny the petition, or continue the hearing to another meeting for the purpose of further information gathering or changes to the petition.
