August 2, 1942 – May 13, 2025

Frances Ellen (Tracy) Kasprzynski, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bay Path Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Duxbury on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She leaves her loving husband of 58 years, William J. Kasprzynski; two daughters: Kyle A. Donohue and her husband, James P. Jr. (Jim) of Duxbury, and Kara A. Webberly and her husband, Charles (Chuck) of Reading, Massachusetts. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, James and William Donohue of Duxbury and Emma and Charlie Webberly of Reading. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen (McKenna) Tracy and William M. Tracy, and her sister, Kathleen M. Tracy. Fran is also survived by Kathleen’s children: Jay Roberts and his partner, Ed Couto, and Tracy Cusano and her husband, Rob. Fran will now watch over her many family members and dear friends.
Fran was born on August 2, 1942. She enjoyed her childhood immensely, attending St. Augustine School in Hartford, Connecticut, followed by Rocky Hill High School. Fran loved growing up with so many cousins in Rocky Hill; it seemed like a cousin was always nearby to talk or laugh with. She met her husband, Bill, in high school, and they married on August 19, 1967. Their loving relationship built a strong foundation for their happy family life.
When Fran and Bill’s children were young, Fran was a dedicated full-time homemaker. As their daughters grew, Fran remained a committed home-maker, but she also began working at the Alpine Haus – a job that was perfectly tailored to her strengths. She was an outstanding salesperson for all the winter gear and had her summers free to experience the pool, beach, and sunshine! Fran was also a true McKenna, helping her extended family and friends whenever she had the opportunity. Her keen sense of humor always kept everyone on their toes!
Upon her and Bill’s retirement, they moved to Massachusetts to be closer to their grandchildren. Fran, together with Bill, were always present at every sporting event, school activity, musical concert, and whatever activities their four active grandchildren pursued. Their support was unwavering and their love unyielding.
Fran will be forever missed and remembered lovingly as an incredibly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter, and friend.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Fran’s honor in the near future. The family will post details when a date has been set. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pan Mass Challenge, a two-day bike event across Massachusetts, which raises money for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. For an online donation, visit PMC.org, click the red DONATE button, and enter the name “Jim Donohue.” That will come up with Jim’s fundraising page (JD0519), and you can donate any amount you like. Jim, James, and William will be riding together to honor Fran, who was an ardent supporter of the PMC for a decade. Every dollar donated brings us closer to a cure for this dreadful disease.
