Post 1917 is thrilled to announce a Memorial Day weekend celebration with the grand opening of The Deck at Post 1917, the restaurant’s inviting outdoor space that comfortably accommodates 50 guests and features Reading’s only outdoor bar. The festivities will run from Thursday, May 22, through Sunday, May 25, offering live music, delectable food, and a new summer cocktail menu.
Located at the historic Post Office Building at 136 Haven Street, Post 1917 brings together the charm of Reading’s storied past with a modern, city-inspired vibe. Guests can enjoy live music performances each evening throughout the weekend while savoring signature dishes and refreshing cocktails under the open sky.
The entertainment lineup includes the Haverty Brothers kicking off the celebration on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by Reading’s own Jami Giordano on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, Chad LaMarsh will take the stage from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the weekend concludes with Eric Grava Jr. performing on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
