Rebate Offerings to include load management devices within RMLD’s service territory
READING, MA – To promote electrification and reduce net carbon emissions, RMLD is pleased to offer a rebate to residential customers who purchase a Load Management Device and install the device at their residence within RMLD’s service territory.
The rebate amount will be up to 50% of the total installed (labor and materials) costs excluding tax not to exceed $1,200 with a limit of one rebate per customer every five years.
“Load management will be a key tool in achieving our non-carbon goals. We are excited to expand our rebate offering to include these important devices,” said Gregory Phipps, RMLD general manager. “RMLD will continue to explore and offer innovative load management practices and incentives that benefit our customers as we work to keep rates low.”
RMLD is thrilled to add another incentive for customers to join in the effort to increase electrification and to proactively manage and reduce our load to keep rates low. This added incentive is part of RMLD ongoing efforts to streamline and focus our rebate program while continuing to offer our customers electrification incentives.
