The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce hosted dozens of business people from Reading and the surrounding community at their Small Business Soiree on Wednesday October 11, 2017. The evening was sponsored by, and held at Northern Bank’s Reading branch, located at 600 Main Street. Guests enjoyed a cello performance, passed hors d’oeuvres and refreshments while connecting with community stakeholders. Jim Mawn, President of Northern Bank welcomed the attendees and remarked, “it was a pleasure to hold the Small Business Soiree event at our Reading location, which is situated in historic Reading Square and we welcome the community”. Mawn continued, “we were pleased to partner with the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce and were delighted that so many guests could join us”.

The Reading Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1989 and merged with the North Reading Business Association to form the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce in January 2000.
