Ronan J. Laskey, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 1, 2025. He was 73 years of age.
Ron was a loving, caring father of five. He loved to take long rides on his motorcycle with his son Patrick. He was a passionate reptile owner/lover especially breaded dragons. He liked Football and watching the Patriots. He was thankful for every minute and second that he got to spend with his wife, Melissa, since the day they met. He adored his daughter, “Catherine Anne,” and was grateful for the strong, unconditional relationship they had. He truly enjoyed “harassing” his soon to be Son in Law Chris to propose to his daughter, it absolutely gave him joy.
Ronan is the beloved husband of Melissa (Rose) Laskey. He is the cherished Father of Jason Laskey, Joseph Laskey, Catherine Laskey and her fiance Christopher Finnegan, Shawn Laskey and Patrick Laskey. He is the loving grandfather of Anthony and Janiyah Encarnacion. Dear brother of the late Robert Laskey, Larry Laskey and his surviving wife Bernie and the late Drew Laskey Uncle of Victoria Laskey.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., Reading, from 4 pm to 8 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.
