7th Annual PorchFest Gets Ready to Showcase Wide Range of Genres
Reading PorchFest Returns This Saturday with 101 Musical Acts
Reading, MA — Lawn signs are popping up all over town at the 44 venues for this year’s 7th annual Reading PorchFest. In addition, the schedule for the 101 separate musical acts and an interactive map have been posted at ReadingPorchFest.com. This year’s PorchFest includes many genres, including rock, pop, folk, country, concert band, ragtime, contemporary Christian, jazz, grunge, reggae, and more. Start planning your Saturday afternoon to hear all sorts of music, all completely free of charge. Be sure to check the schedule again before heading out on Saturday, in case there are last-minute changes.
This year, there is an added attraction to get you in the music mood. On Friday night from six to nine, the Reading School of Guitar presents an open-mic “Night Before the Porch” party on the Common.
