Tuesday, June 17 from 1:30 to 3:00pm: “Gen Silent” documentary showing. Gen Silent is a 2010 documentary film, directed and produced by Stu Maddux.
We invite you to join us for a special screening of Gen Silent, a powerful documentary that sheds light on the experiences of LGBTQ+ older adults. The documentary follows the lives of six LGBT seniors living in the Boston area who must choose if they will hide their sexuality in order to survive in the long-term health care system. Together with Calareso’s Farmstand, we are honored to host a special event: Flowers from the Heart—a heartfelt gathering where we will come together to create fresh flower bouquets and share them with members of the Sawtelle Hospice House bringing a little joy to their day. This meaningful event is a beautiful opportunity to spread kindness, connect with one another, and make a positive difference, one bouquet at a time.
