Rita Marie Dary (Backe) passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, in Pompano Beach, Florida. She was born on August 31, 1932, in Malden, Massachusetts, and lived most of her life in Reading, Massachusetts.
Rita devoted her professional life to the banking industry, where she built a respected and enduring career. She served as the Branch Manager of the Stoneham Co-operative Bank in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Her leadership and dedication made a meaningful impact on both her colleagues and the community she served.
After retiring, Rita moved to Pompano Beach, Florida, where she spent her later years.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Karin Poland of Pompano Beach, Florida; her son Glen Backe and his wife Amy of Danvers, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
