Pleasant Street Center Releases May 2025 Pleasantries Newsletter and Weekly Program Updates

Reading, MA – The Pleasant Street Center is pleased to announce the release of the May 2025 edition of the Pleasantries Newsletter, now available for residents. In addition, we are excited to share a full lineup of upcoming programs and events for the community. As always, residents are encouraged to register early, as many events have limited seating.

Special Town Election – May 13, 2025

A Special Town Election will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, with all precincts voting at Reading Memorial High School Field House (62 Oakland Road). Polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Key Deadlines:

  • Vote by Mail Ballot Request Deadline: May 3, 2025, by 5:00 PM
  • Absentee Ballot Request by Mail Deadline: May 3, 2025, by 5:00 PM
  • Absentee Ballot Request In-Person Deadline: May 12, 2025, by 12:00 PM
  • Voter Registration Deadline: May 3, 2025, by 5:00 PM
