John E. Goodwin, 68, of Nashua, died on September 7, 2024. He was born on May 25, 1956, in Melrose, MA, the son of the late Ralph Goodwin Jr. and Barbara (Downey) Goodwin, lifelong residents of Reading, MA. Aside from his parents, Johnny is predeceased by his sisters, Nancy Jablonski and Mary J. Fama, and brother, Mike F. Goodwin. Johnny is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In his younger years, Johnny loved dirt bikes, muscle cars, fireworks, family cookouts, & weekend PBR’s with his older brothers. In his later years, time he spent living with his sisters, who he loved dearly. Johnny was a kind soul, and our last direct living connection to the maternal side of our family. Always thoughtful, considerate, and generous in spirit and gifts from the heart. He was always appreciative and grateful for those who provided him life affirming help & support.
