RMLD to Host Open House to Celebrate National Public Power Week

Customers invited to fun-filled event on Thursday, October 10, from 3 – 6 pm

READING, MA – In celebration of National Public Power Week (October 3-9), Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) invites customers to attend an Open House on Thursday, October 10th from 3 – 6pm at the RMLD Garage located at 218 Ash Street, Reading.

This fun and educational event will feature family-themed activities such as face painting, balloon art, a caricaturist, kid’s games and prizes, pumpkin decorating, a lineman dress-up activity, an electric vehicle showcase, touch-a-truck and more. RMLD staff will be on hand to educate attendees on electricity, electrical safety, energy conservation, and to share information about RMLD programs.
