Reading’s Public Library, Town Clerk, and Board of Registrars partner to register voters at the library on National Voter Registration Day

Reading Public Library (RPL), Reading, MA— Join us for National Voter Registration Day and register to vote, or make sure you’re vote ready on election day. The goal of National Voter Registration Day is to bring all Americans together for a bipartisan celebration of democracy, and we are here for it!

Since the last election have you:

  • changed your name?
  • moved across town or into town?
  • become a US Citizen?
  • turned 18?

As many as 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote or don’t know if they are registered. Be part of the solution and be vote ready on election day. We are pleased to partner with our Town Clerk, Laura Gemme, and other Members of the Board of Registrars to host a voter registration table at the library.

On Tuesday, September 17, from 1000 am to 800 pm, stop by the library lobby to register to vote or check your voter status. You must have a Massachusetts Driver’s License or Social Security card to register.
