Scott Arthur Quackenbush of Woburn, formerly of Reading, passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis on November 29, 2023, at the age of 58.
Beloved son of Arthur N Quackenbush and Frances (Blake) Quackenbush. He is survived by his mother, Frances (Blake) Quackenbush; his sister Lynn E Vesey and her husband, Joseph M Vesey of Westford, MA; his great love and longtime companion, Janice Bushee of Woburn, sister Karen L Walsh and her husband, Arthur Walsh of Billerica MA, as well as many other extended family members and close friends.
Born in Winchester on June 25, 1965, a graduate of Reading Memorial High School class of 1983 and later earned an Associate’s Degree from New Hampshire Community College in 2007.
Scott loved family, all things Reading, going to his high school reunions, his friends, the Beatles, Star Trek, Star Wars, and visiting the beaches at Salisbury and Old Orchard Beach in Maine.
A Memorial Service will be held at Douglass, Edgerley, and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn Street, Reading, MA on Saturday, December 9 at 1:30 PM.
