Listen to this articleReading, MA – RCTV is pleased to announce that its scholarship recipients for 2023 are Hayden and Logan Clark. The Clarks were awarded the scholarships at a ceremony this past Sunday after the premiere for the Screen Play summer workshop film “Frinton Fortune.”
“I am so excited for both of them as they charge forth and are ready to take Champlain College by storm, but I can’t even begin to express how much they will be missed,” said Deputy Executive Director Angela Merrill.
Merrill went on to express the Clarks’ impact at RCTV: “Hayden may not say much all the time, but he is always listening and has never let us down. I have come to rely on him as my go-to for rentals here at RCTV, as a backup for government meeting coverage and off-site, not just as a camera operator, but as a producer because when he leaves here with a camera, I know I don’t have to worry, he will get the best job done.”
“As for Logan, I don’t know what I’m going to do when I don’t hear his jovial “HI” echo down the hall to my office as he walks in the door. Who will come into my office with a new idea on how to edit something or organize set storage?”
“As most of you know, the technical part of this job is not my expertise, so who can I ask to teach me how to do something or even just get it done because I don’t have a clue, nor do I want to have a clue. There has never been something Logan has been unable to figure out for me, and I have become too reliant on his knowledge and sass.”
