Chamber to Host Social Media Office Hours for Local Businesses

The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce announced a new limited series, “Social Media Office Hours,” to support business owners and address their questions about Facebook and Instagram.

The Chamber is partnering with the Busy Creative, a full-service digital marketing agency with over 30 combined years of experience in marketing and social media expertise. The Chamber conducted a survey in December, and social media help was the top concern raised by local business owners.

Social Media Office Hours will be held inside of businesses in Reading and North Reading. Bring your device (phone, laptop, or tablet) with you and your list of questions. Questions may include: how to set up a bio, adding music to a reel, how to find trending songs and should you use a hashtag? The program is free for all businesses, both chamber members and non-chamber members, and registration is requested for planning purposes.

The Social Media Office Hours calendar is as follows:

  • Thursday, May 11 from 12 – 1 PM at Sweepnman (conference room), 190 Main Street, North Reading
  • Thursday, June 8 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at Tin Bucket, 12 Woburn Street Reading
  • Wednesday, September 20 from 12 – 1 pm at Barton Rossetti Law, 159 Haven Street, first floor, Suite #3, Reading (parking lot behind building or on the street)
  • Thursday, October 12, 8:30 – 9:30 AM, location coming soon.

“We are excited to support local businesses and give them this valuable, hands-on training,” noted Catherine Barton Rossetti of Barton Rossetti Law and Chamber 2023 President. “Business owners or their teams can attend each of the Office Hours and build their knowledge.”
